Lila H. Solomon, D.V.M., graduated from Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2006. She went on to complete a one year joint internship at the Tufts Large Animal Hospital and Massachusetts Equine Clinic in Uxbridge, MA, which provided advanced training in equine internal medicine. Dr. Solomon has been working with Dr. Judd since 2007.
Dr. Solomon has been riding since she was 5 years old. Her first horse, an off the track thoroughbred named Safe Passage, was her inspiration to become an equine veterinarian. She attended Bates College for undergraduate studies and has been back in Maine since finishing veterinary school.
Dr. Solomon’s interests include internal medicine, preventative medicine and lameness. She enjoys working with clients to ensure the health of their horse(s) as a whole. She is thrilled that she has been able to get to know so many wonderful clients and horses over the years.
Dr. Solomon lives with her husband, Tim, an emergency physician, and their two children Eleanor and Ori. When not working, she enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends in the beautiful state of Maine.
