Preventive medicine is an important aspect to your horse’s health. With our wellness program, your horse’s basic healthcare will be well-covered. An important aspect of our plan is that your horse will be examined by one of our veterinarians twice a year. This allows our veterinarians to be on the farm to get to know you and your horse. Twice yearly examinations help us identify medical issues early and discuss preventive medicine topics such as parasite control, dental care, hoof care and nutrition. Each examination also takes into account seasonal influences for improving the level of care and well-being of your horse.

NOTE: Due to the variability of farm call locations, fees and circumstances, the price of the plan below does not include the Farm Call Fee; however, at enrollment, your specific farm call fee will be calculated, discounted and prepayment will be included as part of your personalized program cost. You will receive two discounted farm calls per year as part of the program.
Our 2022 LEVEL ONE WELLNESS PACKAGE includes:
- 2 Discounted Farm Calls (one spring/summer & one fall/winter). Prepaid at time of enrollment.
- 2 Routine Physical Examinations. An assessment of overall body condition and health. Exam includes eyes (ophthalmic), teeth (dental), heart, lungs and abdomen, hooves and skin.
- Core Vaccinations

- Spring Rabies, Eastern and Western Encephalomyelitis + Tetanus, West Nile and Influenza/Rhinopneumonitis
- Fall Influenza/Rhinopneumonitis
- Coggins test (once annually)
- 2 Fecal Egg Counts (one spring & one fall)
- Sheath/udder cleaning (while sedated for dentistry)
The following services can be added to the program at a discount
- *Discounted dental services w/sedation. Level One enrollees receive $60.00 off dental services.

- *Dentals are not discounted from March through August due to scheduling demands. They will still be provided as needed, but not discounted. To receive discounted dental service, please schedule from July through February. Discount applied once per year.
- 10% off Additional vaccinations, such as Lyme, Strangles and/or Potomac Horse Fever
- **15 % off Routine laboratory screening: CBC/Chemistry panel; Thyroid Panel; Vitamin E & Selenium levels; ACTH/Insulin levels; Lyme titers

- **Discount applied once per year at a single appointment. Will be applied to as many or as few tests as you’d like run at a single visit. Excludes Fecal Egg Count.
